About the Founder
AZALS’s owner and founder, Cindie Hastreiter, brings an extensive background of assisted living knowledge and experience to AZALS. Her expertise encompasses over 15 years in the industry, making her an excellent resource for families exploring various senior care options.
Cindie is a founding member of the Professional Association of Senior Referral Specialists (PASRS), and is currently serving on the Board of Directors. Cindie’s experience includes being a trainer at one of Arizona Department of Health Services’ (AZ DHS) Certified Manager’s Training Program. She has provided many hours of classroom instruction to assisted living managers on the AZ DHS rules and regulations that govern all assisted living facilities. She has worked with assisted living facilities to ensure AZ DHS compliance through routine monitoring inspections and complaint investigations, while working as a case manager and trainer at one of the Valley’s largest non-profit social service agencies.
Cindie has worked with family members, professionals in the community, and representatives on exploring senior care options and locating a facility that is best for them. This vast background allows her to share this knowledge and education with individuals to help guide and support them in finding the right solution for their individual needs.
